Effective Date: June 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how House of Outcast, an independent performance collective based in San Diego, California ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website (the "Site"), purchase tickets, make donations, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect

- Newsletter: the email address you provide when subscribing.
- Automatic data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected by our hosting provider for security and performance.
2. How We Use Information
- to process ticket orders and maintain our guest list at the door;
- to process donations and send receipts;
- to respond to join applications and inquiries;
- to send the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- to operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site — Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Neon (database) — each bound by their own privacy and security obligations;
- Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
4. Cookies & Analytics
The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting platform may set strictly necessary cookies and collect aggregate performance analytics. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy.
5. Data Retention
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. Join applications and newsletter subscriptions are kept until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by contacting us.
6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you;
- request a copy of your personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below; we will verify your request and respond within the time required by law.
7. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
